AUTO CAMP IVAN DO: RULES AND REGULATIONS
Auto Camp Ivan Do is a privately owned and operated gated campground. We are a family campground and will be operated accordingly. The following rules and regulations are established for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all campers and are subject to change at owner’s discretion. Campers disregarding rules may be subject to dismissal without refund. The management reserves the right to prohibit or eject any party at any time without refund. All guests and visitors of guests must be registered or will be in violation of national law. Office hours are from 07:00 to 21:00. Check out time is 11:00. Thank you for your cooperation. REGISTRATION:
All guests must register with valid passport upon arrival. Guests and day visitors may only arrive during office hours and will not be admitted any later than 21:00. Opening the gate for unauthorized/unregistered people or vehicles is strictly prohibited. All people entering the campground must be registered at the office. Camp sites found with unregistered people will be required to register and pay any associated fees or be asked to leave the campground immediately.
VEHICLES & PARKING:
Speed limit is 7km per hour throughout the property. Please drive slowly and with caution.
Each vehicle must be registered, and a fee will be charged based on the type of vehicle. Vehicles must be parked at assigned site. No blocking other sites, roadways or parking on vacant sites. Limited overflow parking is available for additional vehicles but availability cannot be guaranteed.
FIRES:
Fire is only permitted in designated areas and with approval by management when weather permits. Maintain fires at a safe level and do not leave fire unattended. Please make sure fires are fully extinguished before leaving them unattended. All fires must be extinguished by 22:00. Cutting, disfiguring, or otherwise damaging trees is strictly prohibited. Please help us keep the trees healthy and growing for everyone to enjoy!
CHILDREN:
Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children. All children must always be under the direct supervision of an adult. Children are not permitted to use facilities without adult supervision.
PETS:
Friendly, non-aggressive dogs and indoor cats are welcome. They must be leashed when outside and under the control of an adult owner. Pets may not be left unattended. Outside use of pet fencing is not allowed. Please pick up after your pet immediately! Pets are not allowed in our facilities such as restrooms and showers. Aggressive behavior or excessive barking will not be tolerated.
TRASH, RECYCLING, AND WASTEWATER:
Please dispose of garbage in designated dumpsters and garbage cans. Do not leave garbage behind at your campsite. DO NOT BURN TRASH. Dumpsters and garbage cans may not be used to dispose of large items such as grills, furniture, carpets, electronics, appliances, tires or metal. Please collect and deliver all returnable glass bottles to camp management. Wastewater may only be disposed of in the designated area with the permission and under the direction of management.
CONSIDERATION OF OTHERS:
Do not walk, bike through or park on other campsites, even if unoccupied. Always keep noise and music to a respectful/low volume. Keep all items contained to your assigned campsite. Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 06:00, this includes use of our laundry facilities, so please plan accordingly.
FACILITIES:
ALL facilities are cleaned as frequently as possible between Please treat bathrooms, showers, dishwashing, and laundry facilities with care. Please leave all facilities in the condition that you found them. Please report any problems to the office immediately. No pets or dish washing are permitted in restrooms. Toilet paper is not stocked in restrooms but is available at no charge upon request. Due to antiquated infrastructure beyond our control, we ask that you do not put any paper or other garbage of any kind in the toilets. Please use the provided waste baskets in each restroom to dispose of paper, sanitary napkins, and pother garbage. We ask you to please remove your shoes before entering the showers. A shoe rack/stand is provided at each shower facility. Use of separate shower slippers is acceptable provided they are free of dirt, grass, and leaves. Laundry, including machine washing and drying is available for a nominal fee. Use of laundry facilities must be completed by 22:00. Laundry machine door must be closed after use. Please consult campground management to pay for use of laundry facilities. If you would like to hang your laundry to dry, you may do so for free in designated areas. Please consult management if you would like access to clotheslines and/or clothespins. All running water on the property is potable water. Potable water storage tanks in camper vans may be filled with permission and direction of management.
DAY VISITOR/PARKING POLICY:
Parking is available for day visitors on a LIMITED basis. Visitors must register upon arrival, pay applicable fees, obtain parking pass for vehicle and park as directed. Day Visitors must arrive no earlier than 07:00 and depart no later than 21:00. Access to all campground amenities is included with day visitor pass.
RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY:
Payment in full is collected at check in. Reservations are not necessary but can be made for large groups (20 or more) who are travelling together. Auto Camp Ivan Do is open each year from May 1st to October 31st. Individual camp sites are available on a first come – first serve basis. Arrival/check-in is recommended between 11:00 and 13:00 for best selection of camp sites as this is when guests are checking out. No refunds will be given for early check outs or departures.
DURMITOR ADVENTURE GUIDES:
We are pleased to offer our guests a wide variety of activities in the area through our affiliate Durmitor Adventure Guides. If you are interested in any activities in the area, please let our staff know when you check in and they will help coordinate a reservation with our affiliate. Durmitor Adventure Guides is a separate entity and they have their own policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and pricing.
DURMITOR NATIONAL PARK & BLACK LAKE:
While Durmitor National Park and its famous Black Lake is just a short walk from our campground, it is an entirely separate entity. Payment for any and all services at Auto Camp Ivan Do does not count toward any required fees for entry into Durmitor National Park. The national park is a government-run entity and we are a private business. Please purchase your national park passes from park rangers/employees prior to accessing the national park. Durmitor National Park is a separate entity and has its own policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and pricing.
DISCLAIMERS:
Auto Camp Ivan Do cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property. It is the responsibility of all guests to secure all valuables and other property in a way that they feel comfortable and confident. Due to forces beyond our control, there are stray dogs/cats as well as wild animals in the area. These animals may visit the campground in search of food. We ask that all food and garbage be secured and/or disposed of properly to avoid interaction and/or conflict with these animals. Weather is also out of our control and tends to change quickly in the mountains. Weather can cause damage, so we advise you to properly secure your tents, campers, vehicles, and other personal property to the best of your ability to avoid damage and frustration. Prices, taxes, and fees are updated periodically and can be found at the office or on our website. These rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and all pricing is subject to change at any time.
